Monopoly City is another take on the successful game from Hasbro featuring 80 3D buildings and an electronic trading unit.
Lego Games
The construction toy Lego has entered the arena with the first-ever range of Build, Play and Change board games. Titles include Ramses Pyramid, Creationary, Lava Dragon, Lunar Command, Magikus, Minotaurus, Monster 4, Pirate Code, Race 3000 and Robo Champ.
Previous year’s Dream Dozen toys for Christmas included Lego games Minotaurus as well as Monopoly City along with LOGO game, Rubiks 360, Jenga and 5 Gator Golf.
TV game shows draw in quite a crowd so it’s not surprising that board games based on popular TV shows sell so such as Game of Thrones, Deal or No Deal, Family Fortunes, Britain’s Got Talent, Golden Balls, and the Colour of Money.
Star Wars and Ben 10
Star Wars and Ben 10 fans can have fun with table pinball games that include lights, sounds and a digital match scoring display plus the Ben 10 Guessing game. Popular programmes like the X-Factor have seen an increase in related musical products that include new music toys and games.
